The South Carolina Green Party is excited to announce its 2014 State Convention, to be held on Saturday, May 3rd, from 12:00 to 3:00 PM in the banquet room of the Arabesque Restaurant, 2930 Devine Street, Columbia, SC 29205. If needed, overnight accommodations ($55) are available at the Riverside Inn, 111 Knox Abbott Drive, Cayce, SC 29033.
The main agenda items are the election of Steering Committee members and the nomination of candidates for the 2014 elections. Candidates seeking the Party nomination are:
- State House District 20: Jon Eames
- State House District 114: Sue Edward
The South Carolina Green Party is a ballot qualified political party established in 2002 and is the state chapter of the national Green Party of the United States.
